A favorite among chefs, Capezzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil is verstile and delicious. The oil is produced in the countryside just outside of Florence at Tenuta di Capezzana, a medieval estate that has produced olive oil since the year 804.
Capezzana is a blend of four Tuscan olive varietals: Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino. Filled with aromas of apple and almond, with notes of dleicate herbs, and a bit of spiciness at the end, this is a well-balanced oil that works with all types of food.
Hre are some favorites: use as a finishing oil over grilled foods, seafood, grilled or toasted bread, mashed potatoes, salad, or citrus fruit.
